I’m a Science, Letters and Arts student at the Cegep of Sherbrooke. I have always been interested in science, but I’m particularly fascinated by space and physics. I applied to the InitiaSciences program because it was a great opportunity, to not only feed my thirst for knowledge, but also to gain research experience. I hope to pursue my studies in physical engineering at Polytechnique Montréal and to study physics in graduate school.

Je suis étudiant en Sciences, lettres et arts au cégep de Sherbrooke. J’ai un grand intérêt pour les sciences forensiques et l’archéologie. J’ai très hâte de me lancer dans ce projet de recherche.

l’m Marie Audrey Eloïsha Estazar, I’m a first semester Biomedical Laboratory Technology student. I’ve always been passionate about science, especially physics, mathematics and chemistry. I joined the Initiascience research program to broaden my scientific knowledge and explore new fields. Even though I plan to pursue a career in medicine and become a surgeon, my curiosity for the universe continues to push me to explore new scientific horizons. For me, studying space is a way to better understand the forces that shape our world and our place in the universe.

Finissante en sciences de la nature au Cégep St. Lawrence, j’ai choisi de me joindre à l’aventure InitiaSciences afin d’approfondir mes connaissances en biologie et de découvrir concrètement le milieu de la recherche. Passionnée par la biotechnologie, je souhaite mieux comprendre comment les découvertes scientifiques se traduisent en applications réelles.

Je suis étudiante en sciences de la santé au Cégep Champlain–St. Lawrence et je participe au projet InitiaSciences pour approfondir mes connaissances en génétique. Curieuse et motivée, je vois ce projet comme une occasion d’explorer concrètement la recherche et de mieux comprendre les enjeux de la génétique.

Je suis étudiant en sciences de la nature au Cégep Champlain St-Lawrence. Le vivant et le génie me fascinent, le premier par sa complexité et son ingéniosité naturelles, et le second parce qu’il permet de transformer ces connaissances en solutions concrètes et innovantes. À travers InitiaSciences, je souhaite explorer le monde de la recherche et mieux comprendre comment la science peut à la fois expliquer et créer.

Je suis en deuxième année de sciences naturelles au cégep St. Lawrence. Je participe à InitiaSciences pour avoir une première expérience en recherche ainsi qu’explorer ce qui me plaît et ce qui me plaît moins, car l’année prochaine c’est l’université.

Je suis étudiant du collégiale au programme de science de la nature. Je suis très fasciné et passionné de la science surtout de la physique pure.

Je suis étudiante en secondaire 5 à la polyvalente Marcel-Landry, et surtout passionnée de science ! Tout au long de mon parcours scolaire, j’ai eu la chance de vulgariser des sujets complexes et passionnants de la physique, mais je suis très excitée cette année de pouvoir expérimenter par moi-même la méthode scientifique en participant à un projet de recherche. J’ai vraiment hâte de découvrir de nouvelles choses qui me seront assurément utiles pour la suite de mon parcours !

My name is Frederic and I am a student from Cegep Edouard Montpetit, studying in health science. I am very happy to be able to participate in this project because it will allow me to learn about the work and challenges of being a researcher. I look forward to working with the other mentees and the mentors on the research.

I’m a first year student at cegep Édouard-Montpetit. The world of the extremely small always intrigued me and i’m really happy to get the opportunity to discover the world of scientific research with the help of Initiascience.

Je suis étudiant en Sciences humaines au Cégep de Saint-Laurent. Très intéressé par la recherche et les perspectives académiques qu’elle offre, j’ai choisi de participer à InitiaSciences afin de découvrir plus concrètement le milieu scientifique et le processus de recherche !

I am a first year health science student at Vanier College with the goal of studying medicine. I applied to the Initia Sciences program to gain experience in scientific research and group work. I am very excited to work on this project and I hope the skills that i acquired will help me in the future.

Currently studying in science at Vanier College, I have a strong interest in physics and real-world applications of artificial intelligence. This has led me to seek opportunities to combine theory with experimentation. Through InitiaSciences, I hope to develop skills that go beyond coursework and gain exposure to real scientific problem-solving. My goal is to pursue advanced studies in quantum physics.
