Linsey Yvette Mouatcho

Communications Department

I'm a doctoral student in ecotoxicology at INRS's Centre Eau Terre Environnement, where I'm working on a project on the role of algal biofilms in the fate of micro- and nanoplastics.
Passionate about citizen science and sensitive to issues of youth, equity and inclusion, I am actively involved in initiatives aimed at making science accessible to all. In particular, I have written several popular science articles, organized events and workshops with a socio-scientific focus, and taken part in awareness-raising campaigns against sexism in academia.
Joining the InitiaSciences team of volunteers as Communications Manager is a great opportunity for me to put my skills in science promotion, social networking and writing at the service of a mission that is close to my heart. I'm delighted to be helping to raise the profile of InitiaSciences' projects, events and actions.
