With a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from UQÀM, I am currently pursuing a master's degree in precision medicine at the Université de Montréal, at the Montreal Heart Institute.
Driven by a natural curiosity and a constant need to understand what surrounds me, I spent a long time looking for a field that would bring together my multiple interests. It wasn't until university that I discovered the full richness and potential of research, particularly at the Canada Research Chair in Biological Nanoassembly Chemistry and the Institut national de la recherche scientifique. Over and above my knowledge, research has provided me with a genuine space for reflection, personal development, collaboration and collective commitment.
What I like about research is its ability to bring together several disciplines, from the humanities to the pure sciences. For a curious person, it represents a crossroads full of opportunities.
It is in this spirit that I share the mission of InitiaSciences. By introducing high school and college students to research, I hope to show them that it's not a path reserved for the few, but an open space where it's possible to unite and achieve. For me, InitiaSciences embodies an essential mission: that of democratizing access to research and revealing its full scope, both human and scientific.
