Year-end Symposium

June 6, 2025 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Université de Montréal's MIL campus!

The InitiaSciences end-of-year symposium, organized in partnership with the Université de Montréal's Faculty of Arts and Sciences, showcases the research carried out by participants in the mentored research program, and introduces many young people to the profiles of researchers and the opportunities offered by research training at our partners' booths.
 
The symposium will take place on the evening of June 6 at Campus MIL, Université de Montréal. The symposium will feature a host of scientific activities open to the general public! Scroll down to see what's on!

6pm-7pm: Welcome and booth tour

Come and visit our partners' booths to learn more about Quebec's research players!

Activities begin with a short presentation by a representative of the Université de Montréal's Faculty of Arts and Sciences, followed by a short introduction to InitiaSciences and its programs!

Discover the mentee teams and the research projects they have worked on. They'll show you their work and the results they've achieved! 

A round-table discussion with mentees from this cohort. Come and ask your questions to learn what they liked, what they learned, and anything else you'd like to know about the Mentored Research Program!

Before the evening comes to a close, meet the mentors of the next InitiaSciences cohort! They'll present their projects in just a few minutes, and you'll be able to ask them any questions you may have!

The various prizes will be awarded to the winning mentee teams!
