I'm a Natural Sciences student at Vanier College! I'm very excited to be able to lead this project and can't wait to see the results.

I'm in my final year of Science, Literature and the Arts, and I decided to take part in Initiasciences to further my interest in astrophysics, a field I've always been passionate about. This initiative will also enable me to discover the steps and daily life of a researcher, as this field interests me enormously.

As a graduate of Vanier Cegep in Science, Computer Science and Mathematics, I've always had a keen interest in the Universe and everything outside our planet and solar system. I applied to the InitiaSciences program to quench my thirst for scientific knowledge and to get my first taste of university research. I'd like to continue my studies in Computer Engineering in the aerospace field.

As a Cégep Vanier student studying natural sciences and keen to explore the various fields of science, I chose to take part in the InitiaSciences project. I hope this experience will teach me to think more deeply and help me acquire new skills that I would never have learned at school.

J’ai postulé au programme d’Initiasciences dans l’espoir d’élargir mes horizons et mes connaissances et d’acquérir de l’expérience directe dans le domaine de la recherche. Comme j’ai toujours été une fille curieuse et passionée, je vise à apprendre le plus que je peux en le peu de temps que notre vie nous donne. »

I'm a first-year student at Maisonneuve, majoring in health sciences. My goal is to acquire solid research expertise in order to pursue a career in which I can apply my skills to innovative scientific projects in the field of medicine.

As a student at Saint-Laurent high school with a passion for science, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to gain my first university research experience and discover the fabulous world of research!

I'm a humanities student at the Cégep de Saint-Laurent, and I decided to join the InitiaSciences adventure to enrich my knowledge of the sociological approach and research in general, particularly with regard to police practices.

As a student at Collège de Maisonneuve in Natural Sciences, I'm interested in the field of research, particularly laboratory work and statistical data analysis. I applied to the InitiaSciences program for my first university research experience!

I'm Mohammed Barakeh, a health sciences major at Vanier College with a passion for biology and engineering. My academic background is fueled by a curiosity for the natural world, as well as a fascination for how innovative solutions and engineering principles can address real-world challenges. Outside of my studies, I have a deep passion for reading bizarre and creative novels, particularly those in the science fiction and cosmic horror genres. In turn, I strive to bring a unique blend of scientific rigor, inventive thinking and unique written expression to everything I do.

As a health sciences student at Vanier College, I am as passionate about the health field as I am about the pure sciences. My goal is to revolutionize the medical field, either technologically through engineering, or culturally by facilitating medical consultation, especially for people with special needs. All the same, even though accessibility to medical help is a subject close to my heart, I'm keen to explore even more scientific fields.

As a Secondary 5 student at Pierre Laporte high school, I'm passionate about biology. By signing up for this project, I was hoping to combine learning and leisure. Thanks to Initiasciences, I'm now able to experience for the first time the exciting world of scientific research in a field that interests me.
