" I'm a graduate of the natural science program at Collège de Maisonneuve, and I've always had a passion for space. As I'll soon be heading off to university, this experience will help me decide between my options.

" As a student at Cégep Maisonneuve in Natural Sciences, I applied to the InitiaSciences program in search of my first university research experience. Still unsure of what the future holds, I hope to find my dream career through this mentoring program. "

"A graduate of Édouard-Montpetit high school in dance studies, I've had a passion for astrophysics since I was very young. I'm very enthusiastic about the idea of doing research with InitiaSciences. I love feeding my curiosity!"

" I'm a student in Secondary 3 at Saint-Laurent high school. Science is a subject I'm very passionate about because we can discover so many things, especially in the Universe. Scientific research is something I really enjoy and that's what I'd like to do in the future, maybe in the field of biology! "

" I'm currently a first-year biotechnology student at Cégep de Sherbrooke. I previously did a DEC in natural sciences, and last year I was studying for a Bac in elementary education, which I didn't complete. After my technique, I plan to do a Bac in biology and a master's in the same field .

" As a student in Secondary 5, I'm passionate about medicine and children. Although the research is focused on screens, this hasn't stopped me from becoming interested in other areas related to pediatrics. My goal is to pursue a PhD in pediatric medicine, and this research represents a first step in that direction. "

Anissa has long been passionate about the sciences. She is currently studying medicine at the Cégep de Sherbrooke. Her scientific research project with InitiaSciences is in line with this goal, and represents for her a first step into the vast and fascinating field of science.

" Being very interested in the intricacies of the human body, specifically the brain, I chose to study health sciences at Vanier CEGEP with the goal of one day becoming a surgeon. Containing such research-intensive specialties, I believe that being mentored in this program will help me develop my medical research skills and critical thinking for the future I desire."
