I am currently a PhD student in physics at McGill University. I obtained my bachelor's and master's degrees in physics at the Université de Montréal's Trottier Institute for Research on Exoplanets (iREx). During my master's, I studied the atmospheres of several exoplanets using data from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). My PhD research project is related to cosmology. Using data from terrestrial radio telescopes, my aim is to create a 3D map of visible matter in the Universe, in order to trace its distribution in space as it was several billion years ago. This may ultimately enable us to learn more about the evolution of our universe and cosmological parameters such as the expansion of space-time.
My passion for the Universe has been with me for as long as I can remember, but my lack of knowledge in the field of astrophysical research led me to follow an atypical educational path. This is one of the reasons why InitiaSciences is so close to my heart, namely the desire to pass on to young people the pleasure and importance of scientific research.
