I'm a postdoctoral researcher in soil and plant microbiology at the Institut national de la recherche scientifique. My research focuses on bacteria capable of defending plants against disease and helping them to thrive. These bacteria could replace the pesticides and synthetic fertilizers massively used in agriculture, thus reducing the environmental footprint of our food. In parallel with my research, I have been involved for several years in organizations that aim to bring science and society closer together, and in particular to make research results more accessible to the general public and political leaders. In particular, I'm involved with Acfas (Ma thèse en 180 secondes, Relève committee) and the association Dialogue sciences et politiques (executive committee, board of directors). With InitiaSciences, I hope to give the next generation of citizens the tools to better understand and communicate research results.
