I'm currently a PhD student in bioinformatics at the Université du Québec à Montréal. I am particularly aware of the importance of diversity and inclusiveness within committees. My commitment to inclusivity is reflected in my ability to bring together researchers from a variety of disciplines to collaborate on common scientific issues. I see the InitiaSciences project as an excellent opportunity to seek funding from different government and industry sectors, while training the next generation of researchers and instilling in them essential qualities such as honesty, curiosity, intuition and scientific popularization.
