I have just completed my PhD in water sciences at the Institut national de la recherche scientifique in Quebec City (ETE center), in Isabelle Lavoie's laboratory, co-directed by researcher Soizic Morin of the Institut national de recherche pour l'agriculture, l'alimentation et l'environnement (Cestas, France) and Professor Jérôme Comte (INRS-ETE). My project focused on the effects of pesticides on river biofilm microbial communities. During my PhD, I had the opportunity to get involved in several committees (student association, researcher's group) and to communicate and popularize science (children's book, songs/videos). I'm delighted to be able to get involved in this wonderful Initiasciences project!
