Our Partners - Research Organizations
The Centre de recherche en santé publique (CReSP), resulting from a partnership between the CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal (CCSMTL) and the Université de Montréal, is dedicated to research and training in public health. It promotes collaboration between research and practice settings through its proximity to the Regional Public Health Department (DRSP) and its partnerships with the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ), the Institut national d’excellence en health and social services (INESSS), and the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).
The Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS) is the only university establishment in Quebec dedicated exclusively to high-level research and to graduate student training. As the leading university in Canada in terms of research intensity (number of grants per professor) the INRS brings together 150 professors and over 700 students and postdoctoral fellows in four cities in Quebec: Montreal, Laval, Quebec, and Varennes. It is one of ten members of the Université de Québec network.
The Institute for Research on Exoplanets – l’iREx – brings together around forty professors, researchers, and postdoctoral fellows and students from Université de Montréal and McGill University. The team also has numerous international collaborations within the framework of its various projects. Studies at iREx focus on all planets orbiting a star other than the Sun, with the ultimate goal of finding life outside of our solar system.
InitiaSciences is looking for partnerships with research organizations in Quebec, in order to offer the best working environments to our future participants. Would you like to welcome motivated young people to your team? Offer unique supervision opportunities to your graduate students and post-docs?
